Per Capita Health Spending
Health spending per capita is the total amount of spending on all health care services in a state (or the nation) divided by that state (or the nation’s) population. While these rankings are useful in comparing how much states spend per person on health care, they often tell us little about health care outcomes. In other words, the amount spent by states on each citizen's health care is not indicative of the overall health of the state population.
